PROGRAMMING
Due to ongoing uncertainties, caused by Transport NSW implicating a maritime exclusion zone of the Newcastle Port which means that no vessel or persons can enter the water and also attempting to shut down our use of the public land at Horseshoe beach, the Art Raft location is unconfirmed during the Rising Tide Peoples Blockade.
But it will be at the People's Blockade, Ideally on the water at Horseshoe beach, on Horseshoe beach, or in the park near Nobbys beach car park.
We will give you UPDATES on the where, what and when throughout the weekend of 22, 23, 24th November online and on our INSTA if you would like to visit or participate.

The ART RAFT collective invites creatives to an artist residency on the ART RAFTS during the peoples blockade of the worlds largest coal port at horseshoe beach over the
22 - 24th November.
We invite you to activate this space
- whether the rafts are on land or water.
We invite performances, workshops, experimental art, discussions and play that imagines new ecologies for this place-
Questioning, what is possible?
How can we invest in a new narrative for this water, this harbour, this port, this river.
Please get in CONTACT if you would like to participate in the art raft residency, or alternatively there will be a blackboard near the rafts where you can add your activity/ talk/ workshop throughout the weekend.
